What would it take to get you to move to the city?

"Honestly...everything will be so much better and the future will be fine if everyone just moves downtown." - Toby Barlow

"The people who are paving the way for this renaissance do not live in the city... It's the money coming from the suburbs that's going to spur the renaissance for the City of Detroit." - Rabbi Jason Miller

Two opposing viewpoints in the newly established Huffington Post: Detroit, sparked a spirited debate about the region's future. We recently hosted a roundtable discussion between the two authors, Toby Barlow and Rabbi Jason Miller on The Craig Fahle Show. The purpose of the conversation was to get the participants to stop speaking past one another and engage with the arguments/ideas of the other side.

We believe inclusive conversations are critical to addressing the complex issues that we all face as a region. So we're putting all assumptions aside and asking YOU to help us get an accurate read on where people really stand. Please do us a favor and fill out the quick survey below. Then, pass it along to your friends and family. The more responses we get, the better we'll be able to understand the complexities of our region.

This survey and conversation is part of WDET's ongoing series, 'Crossing the Lines', an exploration of what unites us and divides us as people and as a region. All responses are completely confidential and will only be used to inform our news coverage.
