STAR: Will on the Water

by: Travis Wright

WDET’s STAR program supports regional arts and culture non-profits doing pivotal work on humble budgets.

This time we take you to the shores of St. Clair, where, this weekend, you’ll find the third annual Shakespearean festival Will on the Water.

Stewart Reed is the producer of the Shakespearean festival Will on the Water and a founder of the Enter Stage Right theatre company.

He tells WDET's Travis Wright that each year has a theme, and this year's theme is 'Mistaken Identity.' The audience will get to see select scenes from such William Shakespeare works as "Twelfth Night."

Will on the Water happens this Saturday & Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm at Palmer Park in St. Clair.

Tickets are $5 dollars for adults and $3 children
