Elections 2012

Faith Leaders from Metro Detroit Advocate Prop 3

Monday, September 24, 2012

A group of faith leaders from Metro Detroit are endorsing a ballot proposal that would require 25 percent of the state's energy to be generated through renewable sources by the year 2025. They say taking better care of the environment is part of being a faithful steward. Reverend Terry Gallagher is from First Congregational United Church of Christ in Gibralter. He tells WDET's Laura Weber-Davis he's in a unique position to understand the issues surrounding proposal 3 on the ballot this November.
