Trick Trick and Vote Detroit Pushing Young Detroiters To Register

Detroit-based rapper Trick Trick talks elections and voting with WDET’s Travis Wright. Rapper Trick Trick will be performing at the Vote Detroit concert called Sound Over Silence Thursday evening. Vote Detroit is a voter registration initiative targeted at 18 to 30 year old citizens in Detroit. Vote Detroit Co-Founder and attorney Alison Kreiger also spoke with Travis about the importance of Millennial voters. November elections are rapidly approaching and as always, there are citizens still not registered to vote, the last day to register to vote is Monday, October 6, 2014. The event Sound Over Silence is Thursday, October 2nd at the The Majestic Detroit.
