Rochester Mayor Jeff Cuthbertson

Monday, October 27, 2014

In our continuing series of conversations with Mayors from around Southeast Michigan, today we take a look at the city of Rochester. WDET’s Amy Miller speaks with Mayor Jeff Cuthbertson about issues important to the community and some of the challenges facing Rochester residents. Jeff Cuthbertson, the youngest elected Mayor of the city, is also a Rochester native who is committed to the growth of his hometown. He tells Amy that the city is a mix of baby-boomers, families and older residents, and recently it's also become a place that many young adults are calling home. Rochester is the oldest city in Oakland County, has a population of about 13,000 people and has an already-thriving downtown area that is continuing to develop.
