NPR Morning Edition host David Greene has covered the White House, been on presidential campaign trails and traveled the United States as a reporter. However, it was Greene’s time spent as bureau chief in Russia that led to his first book, “Midnight in Siberia.” The book follows Greene and his close allies as they travel across Russia on the Trans-Siberian Railroad. Ahead of his appearance tonight at the Berman Center for the Performing Arts, he tells WDET’s Laura Weber-Davis about politics, culture and travel in Russia.
