UM Loses Little Brown Jug, Tigers Win AL Central

There were good, bad and ugly moments in sports in the region this past weekend. The Tigers clinched the AL Central title and are headed to the playoffs. And Kalamazoo native Derek Jeter took the field for the final time as a New York Yankee.

Meanwhile, the University of Michigan football team lost the Little Brown Jug to Minnesota for the first time in nearly a decade. And the loss may not have been the most painful part of the game. Michigan football coaches are receiving criticism for allowing an injured quarterback, Shane Morris, to continue playing after taking a hard hit to the head.
