The Craig Fahle Show

24/7 Detroit and the Future

Wednesday June 6, 2012

Associate Professor of New Media and Director of Engagement Game Lab, Eric Gordon, Ph.D at Emerson College joins Craig, in studio, to discuss the Community PlanIt game, Detroit 24/7. The game was developed for the Detroit Works Project to give Detroiters an opportunity to creatively think, learn, and share ideas about Detroit's future.

Detroit Works Project Long Term Planning (DWPLTP) will be honoring those who participated in the wildly successful planning game, June 6, 2012 at the Main Branch of the Detroit Public Library, 5201 Woodward Avenue, inside Adam Strohm Hall from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Open to the public, the free “Game Finale Get Together” will serve as an opportunity for those who played Detroit 24/7 to discuss the results and their experiences; for the winners to receive their prizes; and for attendees to hear retrospections about the project’s civic engagement efforts to date; as well as learn about the next steps for Detroit Works Project Long Term Planning.
