Health Program Aims to Improve Detroit Public Schools' Graduation Rates

Craig sits down with Director of School-Based Health Centers for St. John Providence Health System Ken Coleman, Principal of Central Collegiate Academy Steven McGhee and Director of Center for School, Health and Education at the American Public Health Association Terri Wright about a new pilot program that will use school-based healthcare to remove health and social barriers to academic success. The program administrators hope it will ultimately increase graduation rates at Detroit schools.
