Detroit made a mark on the music industry even before Motown became its well-known moniker. But just how influential has Detroit's music industry been across the country and the world? Take a listen to Detroit's music legacy experts Steve Miller and Andrew and Mike Nehra.

Steve Miller is a musician and Lansing-based journalist who recently released the book Detroit Rock City: The Uncensored History of Five Decades of Rock‘n’Roll in America's Loudest City.

Brothers Andrew Nehra and Mike Nehra are Detroit natives, musicians and owners of Vintage King, Ferndale's analog and state-of-the-art audio equipment supplier that's celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary this year.
