WDET's bankruptcy reporter and Next Chapter Detroit blogger Sandra Svoboda speaks with the President of the Warren Conner Development Coalition Maggie DeSantis and WDET's Events and Promotion Coordinator Angela Gallegos about NCD's latest community meeting, happening tonight.

As part of our work in the Detroit Journalism Cooperative, WDET is hosting a series of community meetings where residents can get answers to their questions about the city’s bankruptcy, and offer ideas about how the city can move forward. Tonight's meeting will be on Detroit's east side, at the Northeast Guidance Center, 2900 Conner Street. Our bankruptcy blogger, Sandra Svoboda, a frequent guest on this program, will be there to answer your questions, and if you’ve got a question she can’t answer, she’ll find out and get back to you.

One of our partner organizations hosting tonight’s meeting is the Warren Conner Development Coalition. Sandra talked with the coalition’s president Maggie DeSantis about the area and neighborhood where we’re holding tonight’s meeting.
