DJC: Detroit Water & Bankruptcy Update

There were developments yesterday in Detroit’s bankruptcy case. In the morning, US Bankruptcy Judge Rhodes held a hearing where a city attorney said there would be a settlement released later this week. Then in the afternoon, we learned what it was. The city announced it has a deal to potentially refinance Detroit Water and Sewerage Department bonds.
