Thus It Was Written: Write-A House Round One Wraps Up with Poet Casey Rocheteau

The Write A House grant was created to resurrect dilapidated Detroit houses while providing a home to a chosen writer, from somewhere in America, to embolden Detroit's literary scene.

After narrowing down the pool to ten finalists, a winner has been named Sarah Cox is the editor of Curbed and the founder of the program. Casey Rocheteau is a poet from New York who won the grant and will re-locate to Detroit in November.

They spoke about the process and the program with Culture City host Travis Wright.
