U.S. Beats Canada In Gold Cup Game At Ford Field

The U.S. National Soccer Team defeated Canada 2-0 last night in a first round Gold Cup game at Detroit’s Ford Field. A crowd of more than 28-thousand watched the teams compete. Jozy Altidore scored in the first half for the U.S. Clint Dempsey added an insurance goal in the second half. The team’s next Gold Cup game takes place against Panama on June 11th in Tampa.
