Flint's Tunde Olaniran is 'Hip in Detroit'

January 31, 2014

The Hip in Detroit music blog celebrates its second anniversary on Saturday with a concert featuring Tunde Olaniran. There'll be prizes to win and lots fun folks to rub shoulders with. A handful of talented bands from various genres will share the bill. But the quixotic and dramatic set Olaniran will undoubtedly deliver is reason enough to attend.

Hailing from Flint, the singer, rapper and producer has become a darling of the Detroit music scene. His Brown Boy EP was released on Quite Scientific Records this week.

Olaniran spoke about the differences between the Detroit and Flint music scenes with WDET’s Travis Wright.

Tunde Olaniran performs at the Hip In Detroit Second Anniversary Bash tomorrow [Saturday] at the Loving Touch in Ferndale.

The Brown Boy E-P was released this week on Quite Scientific Records.
