Waiting In Line On Paczki Day (photo gallery)

Tuesday, March 4, 2014

Today is Paczki Day in Hamtramck and that means lines out of the bakery doors, The Polish Muslims playing at the New Dodge and Paczki Bombs served at Small's. Every year, people from all metro Detroit over drive to Hamtramck to purchase this baseball-sized pastry that, generally, runs you about 400 calories a pop. In the gallery above, you'll see people waiting in line -- as much as 60 to 90 minutes some of them told us -- for a box of these tasty treats.

Paczki are good and all but would you really wait 60 minutes for them? Tell us.

Also, speaking of the Paczki Bomb at Small's in Hamtramck, check out this video we put together of what exactly that is... and why it exists.
