In Detroit, throughout the 1990s, Orbit Magazine was a must read. But it was more than an alternative mag. Orbit was a cultural beacon and, to some, it was a life style. It was sardonic, sexy, relevant, punk, and wholly Detroit.

Culture City host Travis Wright speaks with the founder and publisher of Orbit Magazine, Jerry Vile (founder of the famed Dirty Show), as well as WDET alumnus Rob St. Mary (now with Aspen Public Radio) who is compiling materiel for "Re:Entry: The Orbit Magazine Anthology," to be published by Wayne State University Press.
