National Weather Service Unveils Wireless Emergency Alerts

The National Weather Service is rolling out Wireless Emergency Alerts for individuals' cell phones. The NWS hopes the wireless alerts will help get people to safety in a more efficient manner. WDET's Pat Batcheller spoke with Rich Pollman, Warning Coordination Meteorologist for National Weather Service about the move.
