Michigan Madness

The NCAA men's basketball tournament includes three teams from the state of Michigan, and all play their first games on Friday. Michigan State is the top seed in the West Regional, and will play LIU-Brooklyn. Michigan has the fourth seed in the Midwest Regional, and faces the Mid-American Conference champion, Ohio University. The Detroit Titans are the 15th seed in the Midwest, and have a tough first game against the number two seed, Kansas. WDET's Pat Batcheller previewed each team's chances of winning with Jason Smith of Pat asked Jason whether MSU can make it to the Final Four in New Orleans.
