Council Member: Detroit is Fixable

Governor Rick Snyder has 30 days to agree with a review board's determination that Detroit is in a financial state of emergency. He then has to decide whether to appoint an emergency financial manager or find some other way to pull the city out from under 14-billion dollars in debt. WDET's Pat Batcheller spoke with City Council Member Saunteel Jenkins, who agrees with State Treasurer Andy Dillon's assessment that Detroit can be fixed.
