Judge to Lawmakers Who Cut Pay: "You Can't Do That"

A Lansing judge says lawmakers illegally cut the compensation of state workers. The court ruled that the legislature doesn’t have the authority to require employees to give up four percent of their pay to keep their pensions, because only the Civil Service Commission has that authority. WDET's Pat Batcheller talked about the ruling with Jake Neher of the Michigan Public Radio Network.
