Great Lakes the Only Region in the U.S. to Gain Wetlands

According to a report by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Great Lakes was the only region in the country to gain wetlands. Nick Schroeck is the Director of the Transnational Environmental Law Clinic. He says wetlands serve as nurseries for fisheries and are stops for migratory birds and are critical to the states eco- system. Schroeck spoke to WDET’s Martina Guzmán.
