Student Portraits Installed on Abandoned Houses

Fifteen middle school students in Focus: HOPE's summer photography program shot and edited portraits of each other to participate in "creative placemaking." Each student had the opportunity to be the photographer, subject and art director. These photographs were then installed on vacant homes throughout the neighborhood adopted by the organization's Hope Village Initiative.
