Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue Set For Renovation

After more than a decade of decline, the Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue, in Detroit’s Capitol Park, is seeing significant growth.

And now, thanks to a successful crowd-sourcing campaign, the very structure is poised for overdue renewal.

The synagogue’s new director, Anna Kohn, and board member Amit Weitzer, spoke about it with WDET’s Travis Wright. Kohn says she’s excited to create a community space for all Detroiters.
