Monday, June 2, 2014

The Detroit Water and Sewerage Department has begun cutting service to customers who have not paid their bills. The lack of payments has left the city with millions in uncollected revenue. Crews began targeting homes which have received shutoff notices and where bills are more than two months late. Greg Eno is with Detroit Water and Sewerage Department. He spoke to WDET’s Martina Guzman. Eno says that between 40 and 50 percent of customers are not paying their bills.
