A Four Minute Master Class with Legendary Photographer Bill Rauhauser

February 21, 2014

The Scarab Club opens an exhibition featuring the work of iconic photographer Bill Rauhaser tonight. Fifty years ago, he opened what might be the first gallery devoted to photography in the Midwest. Having worked consistently as a beloved art educator as much he has a practicing photographer, the 95 year-old Rauhauser was recently honored by the Kresge Foundation as this year’s Eminent Artist.

When he spoke with WDET's Travis Wright, Rauhauser explained what he think makes for a great photo.
