New Baltimore Forced To Make Streets Safe For Ice Cream Trucks

The combination of a boy from northern Macomb County, a lack of ice cream trucks and a call for civic action is resulting in significant repairs to some disintegrating roadways in the town of New Baltimore. A fourth grade student petitioned New Baltimore’s mayor to fix the roads in his sub-division -- even though the streets were paved exactly the way they were supposed to be. WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter talked about the situation with New Baltimore Mayor John Dupray, who says he did not realize just how bad the roads were until he received the fourth graders’ petition...
