'Miami Vice' Powerboats Make Splash On Detroit River

Detroit’s known for hosting the annual Gold Cup hydroplane races. But this weekend a crowd along the city’s Riverwalk saw Detroit’s first-ever race featuring boats that usually compete only in ocean waters – the Detroit River International Powerboat Championships.
