GOP VP Nominee Ryan Heads To Toledo

October 8, 2012

Republican Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan is scheduled to hold a rally in Toledo today. Ryan will address a crowd at Toledo Express Airport – the better to quickly move on to the next stop, campaign advisors say, as they attempt to take advantage of positive momentum following GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s strong performance at last week’s debate. Recent polls show the presidential race tightening in the battleground state of Ohio since the first debate. President Obama was in Cleveland last week blasting Romney’s call to limit financial regulations and cut funding for public broadcasting. Mr. Obama said Romney wants to “let Wall Street run wild but bring the hammer down on Big Bird.”
