Detroit Mayor-Elect Transitions Into Uncertainty

One of the most unusual transitions of city government in Detroit’s history is underway. Mayor-elect Mike Duggan is assembling a transition team and honing the priorities for his administration. But nearly every move he makes must be approved by Governor Snyder and Detroit Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr. WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter was at the news conference announcing the transition.
