Conservative Group Says Detroit Doesn't Deserve Extra State Funding

The conservative group Americans For Prosperity is launching an advertising campaign criticizing a proposal to send $350 million in state taxpayer money to Detroit to prop up the city’s pension system. The “grand bargain” would keep the city from having to sell any assets from the Detroit Institute of Arts to offset the pension payments.
