Gas Prices Fall, Holiday Travel Rises

Gasoline is about a dollar a gallon cheaper today than it was a year ago. AAA Michigan says prices have fallen for six straight weeks to an average of $2.18 a gallon. Spokeswoman Susan Hiltz says it’s a simple case of supply and demand. She also says AAA is expecting the busiest holiday travel season in years.
