Nearly 78,000 DTE Energy Customers are without power this morning following high winds which tore through the region last night. The high winds knocked down trees and limbs into power lines, causing much of the damage. DTE Spokesperson Vanessa Waters cautions resident to stay at least 20-feet away from downed power lines and treat them as though they're live. At the peak of the outages, nearly 200-thousand people were without power.
