Ice Slows Traffic And Grounds Flights At Metro

Freezing rain coated Metro Detroit freeways on Saturday morning, causing several crashes, and bringing air traffic at Metro Airport to a temporary halt. Airport spokesman Michael Conway tells WDET's Pat Batcheller that Metro had to stop all flights from landing or taking off, even though officials anticipated the icy conditions.
