Scrabble Spells S-U-C-C-E-S-S For Oakland County Man

The world’s best Scrabble players are in London for a world championship tournament that begins Wednesday. One of the contestants is Evan Berofsky of Oakland County. The Oxford Township man entered his first Scrabble competition almost 20 years ago when he lived near Toronto. Berofsky tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller he was searching for information about the game on the Internet when he found a club nearby. Click on the audio links above to hear the conversation.
