Storms, Wind Cause Widespread Power Outages

Last night’s severe thunderstorms and high winds have damaged homes and uprooted trees all over southeast Michigan. They’ve also left thousands of people with no electricity this morning. D-T-E Energy says about 245-thousand customers have no power. Spokesman Alejandro Bodipo-Memba says this was one of the worst storms of the year.
