Barr And Lawrence Fight For 14th District Congressional Seat

Election Day is Tuesday and that’s when Metro Detroiters head to the polls to select a Governor and members of Congress.

Democrat Brenda Lawrence is running to represent Michigan’s 14th District in the U-S House. The Southfield Mayor spoke with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn about what she’s hearing on the campaign trail.

Republican Christina Barr is also running for the U-S House in Michigan’s 14th District. That’s the seat left open by Democrat Gary Peters when he decided to run for the U-S Senate. Barr says government is too big.
