WDET's Election Guide: A Conversation With Mark Schauer

October 21, 2014

"There will be areas of disagreement, but you've got to have that foundation of trust to build from."

Mark Schauer, Democratic candidate for Michigan governor.

The November election happens in two weeks. Between now and then, WDET will bring you conversations with some of the candidates who want your vote. Our series continues with Mark Schauer, the Democratic nominee for governor. Schauer served in both the state Legislature and Congress, representing largely Republican districts in the Battle Creek area. He tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller he worked well with the GOP as a lawmaker, and will do so if he’s elected governor. Click on the audio link above to hear the conversation.
