Detroit Council Approves Revised Belle Isle Lease

The Detroit City Council is willing to lease Belle Isle to the state, but for no more than 30 years. The council has approved a 10-year agreement that includes many of the same provisions as a 30-year deal signed by Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr and Governor Rick Snyder.
