Manufacturing has been a key part of Michigan’s economy for well over 100 years. But that sector of the economy has been shrinking for decades.

Peter Marsh is the former Manufacturing Editor for the Financial Times. He’s touring the country speaking about the importance of manufacturing -- and he’s making a stop in Detroit.

Marsh spoke with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn about what intrigues him about Detroit and its possible place in the future of manufacturing.
