Look Up: The Perseids Are Back!

The summer's best meteor shower returns this weekend. The Perseids streak across the sky every August, and depending on the weather and your location, you could see dozens of meteors an hour--if you're willing to stay up late or get up very early in the morning. Astronomer Todd Slisher is the director of visitor experiences at the Michigan Science Center. WDET's Pat Batcheller asked him what makes this meteor shower so interesting to watch.
