Medicaid Revisited: State Senate Mulls Expansion

A State Senate panel is expected to vote Wednesday on a bill to expand Medicaid to thousands of uninsured Michigan residents. The panel is also considering alternatives that would not expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. Last month, the Senate adjourned without voting on a House bill to expand Medicaid, touching off a very public spat between Governor Rick Snyder and Senate Republicans.
