"This is sort of the beginning, the kickoff to 'car month'."

Larry Moss, chairman of the 2014 Concours d'Elegance.

Americans have a long-running love affair with sports carsm, from the first Nash-Healy Roadster to the latest versions of the Mustang and the Corvette. The evolution of the sports car will be on display this weekend in Plymouth at the annual Concours d’Elegance of America. Larry Moss is the chairman of the event. He tells me WDET’s Pat Batcheller that the motoring public’s attraction to sleek, stylish, and speedy automobiles goes back more than a century.
