Neighborhoods Day returns to Detroit for its seventh straight year. Volunteers will be working on dozens of community service projects all over the city on August 3rd. The state of Detroit’s neighborhoods was an issue long before the city filed for bankruptcy. But now that it has, Arise Detroit Executive Director Luther Keith tells WDET's Pat Batcheller the need to get people involved in their neighborhoods is greater than ever.
