Snyder Softens Tone on Medicaid

Governor Rick Snyder has been meeting voters across Michigan the last couple of weeks, urging them to put pressure on State Senators to expand Medicaid before it’s too late to cover thousands of uninsured residents. The Senate went on its summer recess last month without voting on the issue. WDET's Pat Batcheller spoke with Michigan Public Radio's Rick Pluta, who says a committee will return to Lansing briefly to look for a way forward on Medicaid.
