The abandoned Packard Plant on Detroit's east side goes up for auction this fall. The Wayne County Treasurer's office foreclosed on the property in March, and plans to sell more than 40 parcels to the highest bidder in September. Before the county seized the property, it had to determine who owned it. Chief Deputy Treasurer David Szymanski tells WDET's Pat Batcheller that wasn't easy.
