Could the Regional Transit Authority Be Stalled?

The Regional Transit Authority will meet Wednesday to figure out the agency’s next move. The RTA has had a bumpy start since it was established last year. It’s running without a CEO, and needs to determine how--and when--it will ask for funding from Michigan residents. Senator Bert Johnson represents the state’s 2nd District. He has been a long-term supporter of establishing the Regional Transit Authority. Johnson spoke with WDET’s J. Carlisle Larsen about the status of the RTA.
